Since it is the biggest lake of Nepal it is popular among the tourists. Rara lake is the heart of Rara National park one of the smallest and most scenic national park of Nepal. Rara national park is a habitat of musk deer and Himalayan black bear. Daphne the rear and a national bird of Nepal can be seen in this park. Rara Lake in middle of the park is the main highlight (centerpiece) of the park. The Rara Lake has variety of fish and snow turtle. The Rara Lake trail passes through green countryside pleasantly beautiful scenery and cultural glimpse found elsewhere in Nepal. Sinja valleys highest human settlement in world is a major attraction for the trekkers. Our airport representative will be at Tribhuvan International Airport on your arrival schedule. You will be transferred to Hotel by private car. Welcome drink and after you settle into the hotel there will be a group briefing with your tour leader.
On this day you will explore the delightful capital city Kathmandu. Take a visit to UNESCO world heritage site sites - the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhist shrine (Bouddhanath).
Today you will have one hour flight to Nepalgunj in the southern of plains of Nepal. Nepalgunj is the biggest city of the midwestern region which share its southern border with India.
Today you will fly north from Nepalgunj to Jumla. After 20 minutes flight, you will reach Jumla, a cold & chilly weather of jumla might be exciting. From here trekking trail to Rara lake begins. Jumla is the administrative headquarter of the entire Karnali zone and of Jumla district.
You will follow JugadKhola river & head towards ChereChaur. You will stop by Khalanga Bazaar, a busiest town in the way for lunch, snacks or tea. The river bank trail passes through several beautiful villages where we can stop for rest.
Today you will begin early as you will have to prepare for climbing this day. You will begin ascending to the Jaljala Pass(3580m). On reaching JaljalaChaur the ascent gets steeper as soon as you reach Chalachaur, You will enter the Rara lake trail.
Today the JaljalaKhola River will lead you to the Sinja Valley. Along the way, there are several beautiful villages to watch. Finally, you will reach Sinja valley, an ancient kingdom of Khasa.
On this day you will pass by The Hima River. The first part of trek goes along a steep slope then followed by gentler slope to reach the village of Laha. From here you will follow the Ghattekhola river till you reach Gorosingha.
Today is the day you will bless your eyes with tranquil Rara Lake. Initially you begin climbing up the cliff to Chuchhemara Danda. From here, you can see the Rara Lake resting majestically in the distance along with the Himalayas in the backdrop.
Rara lake is the biggest & deepest freshwater lake in Nepal which spread over 6.11 square miles. With a snow-capped Himalayas adorn its background the lake is surrounded by alpine forests. Spare some time watching the tranquil beauty of Rara Lake.
Today will be a downhill trek to Pina. You will pass through the district headquarters of Mugu district, Gamgadhi, on our way there.
On this day you will initially ascend up to GhurchiLagna Pass(3480m). On reaching the Pass, you will pass through several villages & finally reach Bumra. You will stay overnight at Bumra.
Today you will start off early & cross Hima River followed by downhill trail till you reach Hot Spring. You will likely enjoy Hot Spring & wash away your pain & fatigue. Later You will be crossing Danphe Lagna Pass & get to ChereChaur on its other side.
Today you will fly to Nepalgunj & Later fly to Kathmandu. There will be a farewell dinner planned for you to celebrate your successful trip.
