Just in,  The Ski Guides Nepal, A privately owned local company is organizing a skiing expedition to Putha Hiunchuli(Dhaulagiri VII).

Dates are already announced, skiing expedition will begin from fourteenth September and likely to end on 13th October 2018.

Putha Hiunchuli is a part of Dhaulagiri Range also Known as Dhaulagiri VII. It is 95th most elevated mountain in the world and you can expect the wilderness gliding through its slopes. This rarely Climbed mountain is distinct you might have hard time getting to base camp. Two Distinct faces of putha have a lofty, technical ridge which is pioneered by Japanese amid 70’s and less demanding snow climb toward the northern flanks.

Ski Guides Nepal will follow the less demanding snow inclines, settle the routes and guarantee wellbeing for climbing and skiing.The Putha expedition start-off with two exciting mountain flights to Nepalgunj and Jhupal, followed by a 6-day trek to base camp(4900m).

10-20 % of our profit goes to the fundraising campaign led by NFSS (Ski and Snowboarding Foundation Nepal) for aiding and supporting the trend of ski touring and snowboarding in Nepal.

We seek to promote the skiing culture in Nepal in days to come. apart from mainstream treks, Skiing Is complete new recreation activity in Nepal however, we have witnessed professional skiers who successfully accomplished skiing activity in the Himalayas.

Nepal, being home to eight of fourteen most elevated mountains in the world has enough to offer and now skiing is yet another adventure to look for in the Himalayas. Achieving the mountain summit & descend by skiing is truly breathtaking. what’s more exciting other than floating down from the high peak.

Nepal and its Himalayas have good potential to attract passionate travelers, who wish to hit slopes of Nepal once in a lifetime. Realizing The possibility of new adventure sports to the Native land of Himalayas, Ski Guides Nepal Is Formed.

All the Participants Will be provided with the Tees + Gears required for Skiing.

Ski and Snowboarding Foundation Nepal aims to teach Nepalese youngsters skiing, snowboarding and ski touring. NFSS represent Nepal in the World Snowboard Federation (WSF) and in the International Ski Mountaineering Federation (ISMF).

Join us for Ski Expedition to Dhauligiri VII on September 2018 with International Ski Guides.

Travel Itinerary

Day 1: 2018-09-14 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

Day 2: 2018-09-15  Preparation day for a trip. Get to know the other participants

Day 3: 2018-09-16 Early Morning domestic flight to Nepalgunj (150 m /490 ft)

Day 4: 2018-09-17 Domestic flight to Juphal (2300 m), trek to Dunai (2150 m) get to know the Nepalese helpers

Day 5 – 10: 2018-09-18 Start of a six-day trek via Kagkot (3300 m) to the Basecamp (4900 m). During these days we acclimatize slowly. On average, we will cover an altitude difference of 500 meters per day, carrying our day luggage and admiring the beautiful landscape of the Dolpo region

Day 11 – 24: 2018-09-24 Within the next 14 days we move between Basecamp (4900 m) and summit (7246m), enjoy the time on the mountain and the culinary highlights our team of helpers prepares for us.

Day 25: 2018-10-08 Trek Basecamp – Kagkot

Day 26: 2018-10-09 Trek Kagkot – Juphal

Day 27: 2018-10-10 domestic flight Juphal – Kathmandu via Nepalgunj

Day 28-29: 2018-10-11 two days in Kathmandu

Day 30: 2018-10-13 departure Kathmandu (7.35 am)
